I was just wondering a few things. My truck is a 1978 macho w150 power wagon. I recently bought it, and I was wondering a few things. First, when you click on the link, you'll see that my truck does have the yellow pin stripes, but my question is, why are they so close. It's the first macho i've seen with the two stripes so close. I'm not saying I hate it, I was just wondering. Second, power wagons up until 1980 were full time 4x4. But I believe my truck is part time 4x4. Because when I switch it into neutral, the light on the dash that says 4 wheel drive turns off. Can someone please varify this for me or explain what neutral really means. In the original brochures, it says neutral means that power to both the rear and front axles is disengaged. I know they did alot of experimenting in the 70's, so I'm wondering if my truck was like an experiment to Dodge to see if they would get more sales with the part time 4x4. Please post your thoughts on the stripes and 4x4, thank you. By the way, this macho looks alot better now without the plow and light bar on it. I'm doing an original restoration.
