Today I was driving through my town (livermore CA), and ran across a great guy towing a 78 power wagon. It wasnt much to look at for most people but to me it was awsome, nice and straight for its age. Being the lover of old school trucks I started BSing with the guy about his craigslist find. Turns out he is your knowledgable member and author of your "macho spotters guide" Jeff Herman.
After shooting the sh!7 for a while I started telling Jeff about my high school truck that My dad has stored at his warehouse. After asking me all the right questions Jeff and I concluded that the truck is probably a 78 macho stepside with stock rollbar, 360 engine, stick shift, in citron green. He told me that this is a rare truck and I should throw up some pics for the guys here. So here ya go fellas Enjoy!
Thank you Jeff for your time today and sharing the wealth of knowledge. My dad and I now have a future restoration project in mind. Nothing much better than that for father/son bonding.

DUDE!!!!

That is 2 cool.

You joined AND... got pics up

What a great truck.

4 speed too.

Those vintage aluminum rims are as good as the original wagons

as probably more people are into the day 2 look.

In years of looking, only a few like that one have popped up.

Let the restoration begin!

A lot of guys put on aftermarket goodies

Lights, grill guards, stereos, lift kit's, mag wheels / bigger tires.

day 2

Now some of those vintage truck mags are getting pretty hard to

find. I like em both ways, stone stock or with a few extras.

Did your's have the core support tag, or the under hood equip

label, or any original paperwork? know where it came from??
