The metallics faded quickly. This one had the silver parts covered
in grey rattle can primer to keep it from rusting. Fortunately they they taped and saved
the original black and tape areas.

Ultra solid truck and a lot more fun finding them with original paint left.

Man Jeff I'm jealous at how many Machos come out of the woodwork and end up in your hands! I'd love to have a mildly restored '79/'80 to drive around in on a regular basis!

i drive my 78 damn near on a daily basis and the silver is still silver. the next fix is the new heater core so i have a heater this winter.
