Another quick question, I thought all these pre 80 dodge trucks and ramchargers came with a cut pile carpet but after looking at the original carpet in my top hand it looks like loop. Any one else have a loop carpet in yours?

We'll you guys talked me right out of it, I've decided to install my lift kit on my macho ramcharger with the new 33's. I'm also putting a nice rebuilt warlock motor that I have into the macho so I can get the macho ramcharger running. The macho ramchargers motor is blown. I'll just keep the original trackers on the top hand for a bit longer untill I save up for some new 31's for it. I'll go with the ones that are on the red truck above.

Any ideas on what might be causing the tophand to run ruff, I dumped a bunch of fresh gas in it along with some dry gas. I never took the gas tank out to check how nasty it was in there. It's been sitting since 08. The fuel lines all look mint. Put a new carb on it, along with new fuel filter, plugs, I havent put new plug wires on yet. It feels like water in the tank when driving or a clogged fuel filter. Maybe the timing is off? Maybe there's crap on the end of the sending unit? I'm bringing it to work with me tomorrow so the guys at the garage next door can work on it and see if they can get it running any better. Trying to get it running better so I can have it ready for the first show of the season.

If you changed the plugs, cap rotor, wires, carb, filter and gaped the plugs right, maybe it has a bad timeing chain, why was it parked in the first place. ECU could also be going bad, try swapping one in if you have a spare. Coil could also be going bad. Thats all I have lol. Good luck. Love the truck!!!!!!

that does look close....
make sure to get some extra, in the event that you have the door panel carpet and side panel carpet redone at the same time....

Just an update on the Top Hand. Went through the whole brake system and put new rotors and pads all the way around. Installed a new drum in the back as one of them was done in. The hardware in the rear drum was all loose and busted(lol). Put a new light weight starter on it as well. The trucks is going better every day as I do things to it. The u-joint was very loose so I'm changing that out today. I had all the fluids changed as well. I'm trying to get the truck in tip top running shape and then I'll detail it all up really good.
