I just scored a 77 donor pw and the best part is its free now im wondering what parts are interchangeable if any?
From what I understand the difs are not because the 79 is larger also this truck has a 4 barrel setup on a 318 my 79 is a 2 barrel 360 can I just swap the manifolds to put the 4 barrel on the 360?
And what about the body I know the hood is different but what about fenders and doors?
Any help would be appreciated.

Look closely at the intake manifold on the 318. It may be an aftermarket aluminum set up. Which should go on your 360 with no problems. If your 318 had an automatic, be sure to use the automatic kick down bracket thats on the 318 4V manifold and install it on your 360 (if auto trans). The differentials can be swapped from one truck to an other.
There is no measurement difference between spring perches. The 3/4 ton axles have 8 lug nuts on the axles, but still fit the 1/2 ton spring perches.
Fenders & doors are the same 78-79.

I don’t have to worry about the linkage since mine is a 4speed manual so it should be an easy swap, I was hoping that it would be a good bed but it is worse than mine but it does have a good tailgate. Also scored some good chrome valve covers.
