360 truck

Noticed the early style emblems.

I also wonder if Green is the original color.

I was going to post the PNX graphics pic of the

green one (wrong green like sassy grass or?)

but so cool looking. But they changed the pic to a
yellow truck. shows tailgate letters cutout.

Its green underneath and under the seats etc. But has been repainted sometime in the past. I assumed the repaint happened when the front sheetmetal was replaced who knows how many years ago. The jambs are a little different green I assume this from paint fade the paint its wearing is completely worn through in spots.

Yes that's what I was thinking also.

It's a nice straight looking example.

I'm sure there are a lot of guys here

that would jump at the chance to buy

it for more than the value of a crawler

project base. Or perhaps you will consider

restoring it your self.

We would all love to see more pictures,

either way. Very Cool Truck!

So how can you tell the engine size from the vin? I'm asking just so I can check mine. Thanks.

Thanks. Will anything to do with the paint color be on the vin? or is that on the core support tag only?

Heres the pics I promised. Inside looks more like citron green to me but I yield to your superior knowledge. If you look close you can see the outside paint is nearly gone. AZ is hell on paint but despite all the trail damage it is rust free. I included pics of how the roll bar is cracking the bed. Is this common? The way they are mounted is almost useless but I guess it looks cool. All in all it has held up well for its age and the amount of abuse it has seen. This is my 5th power wagon and it took me 3 years to pry it out of the last owner who finally threw in the towel on finding parts for the part time hubs.

Bottom line for me when that 440 gets up on the cam I remember why I wanted it. Cool trucks!
