Well here it is my Frankenstein creation! I bought this truck on ebay, it's obviously not a real Macho, but a 1975 Dodge Power Wagon. Here is the ugly...

License plate area needs a light
Driver's side turn signal and front marker are burnt out
There are three brake lines which need replaced in the front of the truck
The rear brake cables are also bad and the parking brake does not work
The vehicle had a four inch lift, however the drive shafts were never prepped for the lift, so the front drive shaft is hanging out of the front dif.
The rear axle of the vehicle needs realigned
The body mounts on the vehicle are in upside down and two are missing in the front end
The tie rod wasn't installed properly and the tie rod ends are shot
The vehicle needs a front end alignment like you read about, alot of slack in the steering
The truck needs axle seals
The vehicle will require catalytic converters in order to pass PA's requirements
The exhaust needs hangers
The EGR Valve is disconnected
The vehicle has no working horn
The speedometer cable is inoperative
The transmission has a leak possibly around the gasket area and was missing a bolt, I already replaced the exhaust manifold gaskets and tightened the collectors.
The KC lights needs reinstalled as a result of shipping
The vehicle has no working window washers or resovoir
The vehicle begins to stall out when accelerating
and The vehicle has a bed from a 1978 Dodge truck, a fender possibly from a 1978 Dodge truck, and I think that is about it. Goofing thing is I still love the truck and I think it will be great once I fix everything, but man what a list.

If anyone has any suggestions for my project other than setting it on fire and hope for the best please let me know. Thanks

License plate light, who uses those?? Sounds like a typical truck that you see running in Idaho!

Heck I'd drive it as is!! : )

Looks like a '79 eh??

Kinda like paying your bills

Get rid of all the pidly stuff and the list will be a lot shorter.

I do think in a long distance deal

it's good karma to have the buyer "pleasantly" surprised.

Still has to be better than most of what you'd find

in the rust belt.

Check the vin plate and see it says 6100 GVW....if so you don't need a cat in 75 for California. A 75 federal truck might not even have EGR...I don't know but it worth checking...if the equipment is not on the truck there is no way to tell if it was originally a Federal or California truck. Your truck may have been sold new in Nevada with federal emissions and later moved to California.

The guy who sold you the truck posted on here before about it...someone smarter then me can probably find the thread in which he talks about it. Too bad he did not put the correct mirrors on the truck....I hate those chevy mirrors on a 70s dodge.

I am curious as to how much paid for it? PM me if you like. Any questions just ask....
