Would this even be worth saving. looks to be a little more work to get road worthy than i would be able to do. it is the only one close enough to me. i kind of like the color. i would rather have my yellow 400 or 440 macho. problem is i dont know if there will be anymore yellows for sale anytime soon. this would hold me over no problem. im just worried why the gas tank is not installed? what will be required to install the gas tank. did it rust off? parts missing? if so where do i get replacement parts.

here is the AD:
1978 Dodge Truck Power Wagon. Truck has a strong running 360 small block; Edelbrock intake; Edelbrock carb; Mickey Thompson valve covers; headers; Flowmasters; Direct Connection: upgraded ignition; short wheel base; 4 x 4; automatic. The truck needs a little work to complete. The gas tank needs to be re-installed. Runs great. Macho package. Comes with title. $1500. Call 571-330-8833.

I was looking at that truck back when I had my T7 69 bee, thought they would of looked nice together. He probably just took the tank out to clean out the bad gas from sitting and never put it back in. Shouldn't be to hard to put back in.

I like it but it isn't close to me so I would have to rent a truck and trailer it back. Looks like most of the pieces are there. 360 with headers so there should be some power. Making a run there and back would be too much $$$ for me otherwise I might consider it. ;)

It could be that the gas tank got a hole in it.My 78' has a plastic gas tank and it recnetly started leaking. It may have got a rock in between the strap and the tank and wore a hole in it.That truck has been for sale for quite awhile.I'd snatch it up if I was you.Of course I can't pass up a Macho if it's reasonably close to me.
