Does anyone know exactally how many Macho's were built all together? Literally I think I've seen a total of 4 Since I was 10 and that's including mine. I lived in California for 21 years and saw 2 one silver one green. Then I moved to Vegas and have seen one silver.

Hi 78MachoWagon!

Go you one better... I've never seen one at all except in pictures! I understand they were primarily a west of the Mississippi type vehicle and I'd imagine the production numbers were low since they were a specialty item. LAST440 or palomino will likely know those numbers by heart! I'm sure one of them will be along shortly to answer your question. :)

No records on how many were made, if there is they have never come out of hiding.

Yeah I actually heard somewhere that it was a california special. It's Nice to have something this rare. I am actually waiting on engine parts today for the 440 thats going in mine. Didn't realize that I was gonna sink 4500 into an engine. Getting as exspensive as my Jeep :D . I think Palomino or last 440 should have an answer as well. I think if I get time later I'll google it and try to find some answers.

no numbers on how many were made. there were made for the USA and canada. seems like the big number years were 78 and 79......not many 1980 models, and very very little 1981 macho's made....
