Well after trying to get the yellow pin stripe decals on my macho rims perfectly I gave up and decided to get ones made for it that are precut to a perfect circle. I'll let you guys know how the out come looks after I install them. Performance car graphics use to sell the macho stripe kits and this is how the wheel decals came. They no longer make them now. It's to bad because every thing that he did was top notch.

Just had a set of 79s powder coated in YL 14 and then pinstriped
in gloss black. They came out great. The original wheel
with the Tracker shows how much the width of the original
stripe varied.

So do you restore sloppy like the OE or make them perfect?

For most things it makes sense to me to do it nicer. Straight
decals (and body panels) no runs in the paint, etc etc.

But to make this Silver 79 Macho project look more correct,
we did a single stage paint with no clear.

More pics coming soon.

WOW, that looks awesome Jeff. Which silver macho is that one? Is that the one I told about a while back? If so it looks much nicer now.

Hi, Thanks.

This is the Lifted 360 4bbl.

Sold it to a local kid who got it apart, and then stalled.

I bought it back and am just about done with it. Then

probably off to Ebay. Motor is 30 over. And the truck will

be a pretty good example when done.

These pics are before I sold it the first time.

The one you found is still sitting.

But now runs.

Not a bad truck. 318 2bbl auto.

When restored, The silver looks amazing with the black and yellow on these.

Were the pinstripes done with a paint brush?
