 Post subject: no start maco

I have a 79 maco that has sat for a couple . Turns over great no fire, possibly a faint ignite as I drop the key. I changed to my ballast resistor but no uck. Yes. I have primed the carb. Anydeas?? I have had this before a few years ago.Thank you

I have had that happen and it was my ECU box that was the issue. Have you checked to see if you any spark yet? Could also be your coil quit.

had that happen...check your ECU, and as crazy as it sounds, find your dist plug, and un-plug it, then plug it back in...had to do that on 2 of my trucks this year for some reason...

A big thank you Sam, the plug & unplug worked. Must corrode from sitting.
Now to get the carb touched id has always been c-o-l-d blooded
