1978 Midnite Express Truck (Recreation) Best offer or buy it now $22K

Complete resto-mod restoration.
Drivetrain
1977 Mopar 440 .30 over 9.6 to 1 comp. 509 lift cam 452 casting heads stock size valves
Fully balanced stock rods and crank.
Topped with a Holley 6-pak assy. Edlebrock intake (alum).

A-833 completly rebuilt w/ Hayes 11" clutch and new Hurst shift mech.
Alum. bell housing w/ new clutch linkage assy.
New drive shaft to a 8.75 489 case SureGrip all rebuilt profesionally.
All new suspension components,bushings etc.
New brakes, stainless brake lines and fuel lines

New wheels and tires. American Racing Torque-Thrust D wheels- 15X7 front 15X10 rear
Micky Thomson Indy Profile SS tires.

Interior
New Ledgendary Interior carpet and seat upolstery.
Buddy seat is competely restored as well as the entire dash assy.
A Kenwood stereo w/flip around face for a radio-delete look.
New glass and weatherstipping through out.
A beautifully restored(original) Pistol Grip shifter w/ hardwood grip
Grant mohogany steering wheel.
*Also signed by Mr. Norm Krause in 2005 at Mopar Nats

Body
Paint is original color for 78
PPG uerathane Black Sunfire Metallic
All decals are new
Also a custom but correct looking and functional Air Grabber hood.
Electrically controlled from inside the cab.
All of the wood is new red oak, excellent quality
Wood racks are fabed from originals
Very, very sharp truck built as if the factory was to have made this truck in 1978.
Looks great and ready to drive anywhere. I drove this truck to the Mopar Nats every year, over 275 miles one way and put 1200 on it in that weekend. Fun to drive.

WOW! That is one 2 cool truck. I love the air grabber hood idea! I thought about doing that before to my macho, but decided not to because it isn't original.

That is a sweet truck, 4 SPEED! With that nice pistol grip shifter!! Yikes, almost makes me want to take it out of my car!! : )
