From the ebay listing::::::::: Very Nice 1978 Dodge Power wagon.Just put new brakes all the way around.New calipers on front ,new discs on front,wheel bearings,also new brake lines to front axle.Powered by a 318 (i believe) the distrib is in the rear.This is original miles best of my knowledge.I bought it from a friend of mine about May of 06.When I bought it the mileage was 99,000.I drive a 18 wheeler and don't use it a lot.I mainly bought it to pull a boat with and to camp with.Truck has not been abused.It smokes for about 5 seconds when you first start it.Runs great,Here is a list of things that need fixing,It has a bad spot on the flywheel,sometimes you need to turn the fan 4 or 5 inches to get the tooth off the bad spot to start it.The fuel sending unit is bad,it has a bad shock,and could use a new set of tires on the front.It has a good battery,I replaced it last winter.It has a ding in the right door that was in it when I bought it.Other than the last expense on the brakes this has been a great truck.I need the money..this is the only reason the truck is for sale.I have owned 4 of this trucks and I love them. The fuel mileage is about 13 on the hwy and about 9 in the woods.Good luck and thanks for looking. |

It's funny how there's a dry spell with no Macho's to be found.Then like this past week they poped up like crazy.  It's kind of weird that pretty much 2 identical Macho trucks pop up for sale in Alabama in the same week.

Yea I hated the door had been hit but it looks like an easy replacement. I am going next Saturday to pick it up. I had fell in love with the silver 79 on here but it was just to far to be a logical purchase. |
