From what little I know and continue learning about these as I am restoring a 1978 440 Macho. It looks to be one. You need ask if paint code tag exists located on the core support in front of battery. The key is it will show flat black paint code, roll bar looks to be correct although black not original color should be the color of truck (red) and back bars bolted to the 45 degree side of the wheel well arches, original wagon wheel style rims look to be painted silver? Should also have the sport bucket seats with center jump seat/storage. Black bumpers long gone to newer chrome. Tailgate looks correct. Don't think you can buy tailgate graphics. Front grille gone to newer? You can run the vin on http://www.vinwiz.com/ to verify what year and engine etc. |

Hard to say, but doubtful......... That grill is a '79 or '80 dual headlight setup. Not a hard modification, ( I don't think, change out the rad support, like on the 80's government motors....... general motors trucks.), but I would bet a dollar against a doughnut those arent the only changes made. |
