77 Power Wagon Macho for sale. 4spd manual, 318 wideblock. Department of energy vehicle. Unknown miles. Runs/would drive with new tires. NOTE: seats have been swapped out to something newer and more comfy.

THE BAD
Cracked windshield
Missing Passenger window.
Tailgate is beat up.
Turn signals work intermittently, may be fixed before long.
No radio :(
Instrument panel not functional, may be fixed before long.
Will need valve cover gaskets.. leaks a healthy amount.
Needs carb work. Runs fine, but can be touchy on really hot days.

THE GOOD:
Good running 318. Used to use this truck for in-town errands.
4WD works.
New plugs and wires.
Heater works :)
Trans works fine
Clutch seems to grab well.

EXTRA PARTS:
2 camshafts
1 transfer case (heavy! haha)
1 clutch plate
Loads of trim pieces. Light bulbs, switches, handles, etc.
2 front driveshafts
Some large toothed wheel.. i assume its for something transmission related.
2 leaf springs
2 OEM power wagon emblems
2 alternators
2 starter motors
1 4 barrel Holley double pump carburetor
What appears to be a sway bar, but i dunno for sure.
...Bunch of stuff that im forgetting

Located 7 miles from Sturgis, South Dakota

cool macho...
does the yellow door have the original VIN tag on it still, being that it is yellow and the rest of the truck is still in original paint? Dept of energy.....now that is interesting...a govt owned macho...

I have not checked.. will do so in the morning, a bit too dark right now.

And yessir, wyoming department of energy for almost its entire life.

EDIT: forgot to add, does have the original laminated equipment label stuck to the underside of the hood. haha, novelty.

I'm with Palamino; I just can't see the DOE..... or most any government agency using a PW. Plain-jane, yes. The large toothed wheel you talk about; sounds like a flywheel to me.

I'm guessing that the plain jane yellow door with the VIN on it is from a plain jane DOE truck once upon a time, I'm sure that it doesn't match the VIN on the frame rail etc. I'm sure that mirror was added otherwise that's an 80s or 90s mirror, not a 70s piece eh?
