For Sale: 1977 Dodge W150 Macho edition. Runs and drives, 4x4 works great! but needs a tune up and the throttle linkage adjusted down to the transmission. Also needs a battery. This truck is rare. Most of these trucks are gone due to rust. It does have some rust but the rust is repairable with new panels. Frame is all there. It is missing the roll bar but they are easy to find. It has a hitch on the front as well as the back. Could use a little work. 3" body lift. would make a great mud truck. 318 with the torqueflite 727. The transmission has been rebuilt. Asking $1500 or best offer. would be willing to trade for snowmobiles prefferably arctic cat but will consider others, old gm cars, motors, muncie 4 speed trannys gm performance parts etc... 9528734586

Yes a lot of funny statements there.

Rare trucks (but roll bars are easy to find)

And the concept of repairing the rust with
new panels.

Good Idea

were macho power wagons or all power wagons full time 4x4? What year did they start making them part time 4x4?

IF the machos W150s were out from 77-80, then those should all be fulltime 4wd cases (NP203s, chain drive) mated to the transmission.
The Dodge power wagons from '72-74 had a parttime tcase (NP205 gear drive right?) which was divorced from the trans. Those also had manual hubs in the front if I'm correct, but the not-so-desirable front drum brakes on the Dana44 axle.

'75-'80 power wagons were like the macho setup, fulltime 4WD case.

I think that's it! Hope that helps

1972-74 trucks were part-time 4x4 setups(divorced NP205 t-case).
1974-79 ramchargers and traildusters were full-time(married NP203 t-case)
1975-79 trucks were full-time(married NP203 t-case)
1980 trucks, ramchargers and traildusters were part-time(married NP208 part time light duty, married NP205 part time heavy duty with dana 60 front axle only)
