Those ECUs go out sometimes, I had one that wasn't working intermittently. If no spark, either the circuit isn't getting power, or ballast resisitor, ECU, coil or distributor.. I usually keep a spare of the electronic stuff in the truck. Dodge's don't like to show symptoms all of the time!

If you're getting spark, then sounds like fuel. If you can get it to run by dumping gas down the carb, you're losing your prime somewhere, or accelerator pump is shot. Rotten fuel line (common just about tank) or your fuel pump is going? Usually it won't work at all..

oh no lol i learned that gas line trick early on haha if it needs any kind of gas tank work forget that metal line i go buy a rubber gas line about 10 or 12 ft for around 13 bucks attach it directly to the sending unit and remove the metal line and place the rubber line in its place and zip tie it to the frame snug not tight it needs some give. and wheres this accelerator pump at? and my trucks fuel pump works but i can have a fully charged battery and in like two 5 secs cranks bam dead battery it wont crank it anymore it just goes in the faint half ass crank mode and the batterys still at 10 volts? so idk but for a bit in november i could get in it pump the pedal twice and shed roar to life any hour of the night but i havent tried to start it lately so idk if shell still do that

Accelerator pump is built into the carb, there's a little piston in there that squirts gas into the primaries, if you have the air cleaner off, and you push the throttle plate back there should be gas squirting out of the accel. nozzles just below the choke plate (air horn).

I'd try a different battery for sure, or your terminals are dirty, or bad connection there or at relay or starter, then maybe bad starter if not that stuff.

Ya, trucks like those typically up here get down to 900-15oo bucks up here in the northwest, they aren't really rare, there's lots of them, and for that price sometimes you even get a 440 one, a club cab, or 3/4ton. And even those sit for sale for a few weeks or more. Ones selling for 3K around here I see for sale for months and months and months... now if that was in a rust belt state, I think it'd sell close to that.. Supply/demand?
