Any one know anything about this truck? Is it true that less than 300 Macho 440's were ever made in '78?

that is one of those "pull the number out of the sky" sellers.
He is a member here, and bought his pride and joy about 3 months ago...
it is a true macho, restored as an incorrect driver IMO...
to be done right, it has to be redone again....

Oh, ok. What is the correct color and scheme for the black on 77-78 Machos? I understand the hoods are flat black, but is the cab roof and the lower body flat black as well or gloss black? I think I have seen pictures of both. Thanks.

This guy has bought and sold several Machos over the past couple of years. The way he represents himself and the trucks is a little too shady for me. My advice if you are thinking about this one or anything else he is selling: (1) go inspect the truck yourself, or have someone do it, and (2) consider the truck at face value, as opposed to any representations made by the seller.

it should be flat black on the roof and the lower part of the body....
it also has the 79 style hood stripes...

He is member chargergsm (i think) on MPW....
He recently sold the blue 75 macho truck to a member on here....
has has several trucks for sale several times on ebay......most notably the true spirit warlock....seems like it sells for about 5k every month....must be a lot of non committed bidding out there on the net.
I know what the truck was for sale for when he got it, the seller at the time would not answer e-mails or his phone.....and no, I will not say what it was for sale for, but only that it was for a song IMO, and karma is one of those things that can come back to bite you...
now back to our regularly scheduled programming...

Sometimes it is not the buyer's fault when deals don't get done.

Is that a quadrajet on that truck? Doesn't look like any thermoquad I ever owned.
