Hey gents, Just droppin in to let everyone know I'm going as fast as my budget will let me . The 440 rebuild is coming along nicely figured I show some pics on what a Macho 440 will look like. Here is the run down so far. It was short blocked at Las Vegas machine shop, decked, balanced and blueprinted. I have Edelbrock performer rpm heads and intake. 440 source roller rockers, water pump, timing chain cover, and a Moroso oil pan. I'm trying to match the truck with the paint. I need some input on headers. I'm looking at Blackjack, hooker and headman. Has anyone ran these in their wagon? Think I'm gonna run a Holley 750 carb, and MSD distibuter with the 6al box. Hope you guys enjoy, I cant wait to get started on the truck itself. If you think the engine looks good, wait till the truck is done!!!

that's a pretty engine! are you going to have it dyno'd before you install it?

Yeah it's gonna be dyno'd. Kinda want to get it broke in before it goes in the truck and I need to get the numbers so I can get the proper gearing for the 4 spd manual and front and rear end.

what trans and tire size are you going for?

Hey Pete, I have the original NP 4530 4 speed manual trans and I'm gonna go with 35's I think. This is the tag on the transmission.
