Hey gents I'm ordering up my water pump and am not 100% sure which side the lower radiator hose ( driver or passenger side) is suppost to be on a 440 equipt power wagon. Any one with a 440 in their macho or the knowledge of what side its supposed to be on would greatly help me out. Thanks in advance guys. |

Pass side. Exits from the Housing. Hose is avail from Napa or others. Are you using a custom Radiator? |

Hi It shouldn't really matter cause the water pump is bolted to the housing which has the hose outlet on. The water pump is kinda squared with 4 bolt holes. I have a 78 macho with a 440 in it. Mine has the lower hose connector on the passenger side. |
