Good luck with your project. Would you like to sell your wheels. Had a set on my 79 long time ago and sold them. Now I've been looking for a set again. 15 x 10 or are they 15 x 12. Feel free to email me dodgebee@mchsi.com |

Thanks for the welcome ! I have always wanted a Macho Power Wagon and hope to find an original someday. I have totally restored many Dodge trucks over the years, and plan to do this one soon too. My daily driver in the summer is a 74 Dodge 2wd crewcab that I swapped in a 12 valve intercooled Cummmins turbo diesel and 5 speed overdrive. It is an awesome tow rig and gets 29 mpg empty and 24 mpg towing[to the Canadian gallon]. The 75 4x4 is original paint still, and yes,it is an unusual dark blue metallic that I have not seen on any other Dodge pickups. This truck was sold new in Idaho ,and has never been painted or apart. besides the 440 automatic,it has 3.21 gears,am radio and blue vinyl bench seat, power steering and brakes. Not many options. It is a standard Adventurer with only the in cab tank, and a dummy gas cap on the box side.I have had a couple other pickups with the dummy gas cap too.Funny how many gas tank variations Dodge used in those years. I am planning to run the turbine whels on the truck, but I may also get a set of 15x8 white steel wheels and run a set of the new repro Dodge dog dish caps.I had a 76 Ramcharger with them years ago and they look tough. |
