I can't believe it, there was this old farm hourse on my way home every day and I noticed it a bunch of times that was a roll bar sitting on the back side of an old building and I always joked around with my brother and said it was a macho roll bar and this is like 200 feet away from the road. So yesterday I finially drove up and looked at it a little closer and it was a macho roll bar for a long bed macho and was red in color under black spray bomb. It has the tabs and all the right bends and I could hardly believe it, what luck. So I went and nocked on the door of the old farm house and an old farmer looking guy came out and I asked him if he was interested in getting rid of it and he said go ahead and take it, it's just holding up my tractor chains. He first asked what I had in trade but I woudnt have any thing he would be interested in. Told him I'd give him cash for it and he wouldnt consider it. So I told him I'd make a rack to hold his chains for him. He was pretty surprised when I described his truck right to the tee by just looking at his rollbar. I then asked him where is went and he said he sold it a while back and doesnt know where it went. My next question is how hard is it to turn this into a short bed roll bar. Are the bars that go to the hump at a different angle or are they just longer and go to a lower spot on the humps of a long bed?
