What would a nice low mile set that still hold air and have good tread left be worth? These are not just any old tires these are OE Macho tires, Good Year Tracker A-T and 5 of them. They are not for sale but just a feeler as to what they might be worth. They would be more valuable to me if I ever finish the truck and would like to show it at a Mopar truck/car show. |

Since your not selling them and want to use them on your future restored truck project; Think of the value like this: Would you trust 30 year old used tires with your life at 60 MPH for 4 hour drive? Would you trust 30 year old used tires at a car show where you "could win" a placing trophy and you had to trailered your truck to the show because of the originality of the restoration..........That's what "I" place the value of your Tracker Tires if I had the same choices as above. |

I don't think these would stay intack at high speeds. Just like you mentioned, "would be just for show only" They don't have any value for daily use but I know they still have a purpose and would like to know what someone would pay for them. Guess the old supply and demand rule would have to come in effect. |

I'd say what you'd have to worry about are the sidewalls. my experience in buying 30 year-old tires is limited to buying them for my Deuce & a half, but when I did, I went through a lot of tires before finding a set without sidewall cracks. keep in mind that the deuce has dual rears, and only goes 50 mph. |

I just looked though the glove box and found out these are the second set of tires. Installed in 1988 and truck was parked in 1991,so they have just over 40,000 miles on them. I also found the shipping paper, pink Trace and Pay Card, and under hood sticker in great shape with the word Macho Program in it. |

WOW, they cleaned up well. ArmorAll rules...... Some have worse cracks but they would look great installed on a show Macho truck. The fifth tire (spare) is worn down like a slick so I only have 4 good matching tires.

If the tires were stored in a dark dry place they have a better chance of being a better tire than otherwise. That Goodyear was a great long lasting tire back in the day! |

I gave a $100.00 for a mint 79 spare that came on a mint macho rim. A decent complete set would probably be worth around $500.00. |
