Looks like it's coming along nicely!

A friend of mine with a '70 440 Challenger and I used to hang out together and work on our cars in the same shop. I was (and still am) an Oldsmobile muscle car freak. Just so happens we had an Olds 455 block and a 440 block bare sitting on the concrete. We decided to test their weight by lifting them. I couldn't believe how much heavier a standard 440 block is compared to an Olds 455! MUCH heavier. I think I dropped a nad or two when I picked it up!

Yeah, I said the same thing about the stock heads. These aluminum heads are about half the weight of the stock, just about enough to drop a nad. I got a buddy in Vegas that has a Olds Cutlas (I believe) that has a 355 Rocket, Numbers matching that he' s trying to get rid to make room in his garage for a rockabilly truck project. I think he want 3500 for it if you have any intrest. I believe he has it up on craigs list but not 100% sure.

Hey Palomino, It's been awhile since I ve been on the forum. Finally got my project rolling. There are some pictures of the truck under "new to forum" on page three. I'm starting on the engine first so the truck still looks the same, but if u want more I can post some. Take a look on the damage on the bed for me. Do u think I can do a patch panel or get a new bed? I kinda have sentimental attachment to it, but I want to do whats right.
