how big is a standard single side gas tank hold for a 78 macho 440? what kind of gas milage does she get? i want a truck but not a daily driver more like a weekend warrior. it would probably never hit the dirt or go mudding. i only want it to haul my Quad or dirt bike. Thanks.

if it is the frame mounted tank, it will be about 18 gallons in a short bed. the in-cab tanks are about 20 gallons or so. a 440 will yeild about 9-12 mpg depending on how you drive it...

i am thinking about getting a truck. I am not sure if i should pray and drive it or trailer it the owner says it is fine drives great and he would not hesitate to drive it. if i drive it i would save over $800 from not towing it. I wouldhave to get a uhal and trailer. if i break down, i would be up a creek for sure in the middle of nowhere. dont know what to do.

where is it at? anytime I buy something I usually trailer it, it just makes more sense that way IMO.... One never knows if your buying someones headache or heartache....

It is at the florida border. it will run me $800 to rent a trailer and truck. I dont have a truck to use as of now. i wish i could find one closer to upstate ny. i really want a unique truck. i would like a 400 or 440 BB. not a 318, 360 would be ok. AUTO
