Sadly the records seem to have been lost for this time period.
It's possible that some were "Salvaged" and just haven't surfaced yet.
Hopefully they're not in a collapsing barn somewhere.
It's also possible that alternative sources may show up.
The marketing people had record of what % of units came with
each option. So Total figures are known, (little white books)
There may be some copies of what the marketing group. used out there?
Till then just guesstimates. Based on what was seen at the time,
what survives? I've always tended to think Machos were more likely to
get used, abused, destroyed. Like a charger, was typically driven harder than
a New Yorker, younger owners, especially after it got traded a few times.
% of total builds? On short swept PW excluding contract, govt, Mil , etc
maybe 10 % ?
