Thanks nice to know that I can tell my wife that the couple hundred bucks I paid for it wasn't the bad investment she thought it was. I live in north central Nebraska where ford and Chevy are the brands of choice. I guess I am not familiar with what options are the most desirable and sought after for machos.

Here's a few more pictures, it's pretty filthy, but hopefully things will slow down and I can clean it up and do a few things to it this fall and winter....but that's been my plan for a while and haven't made much progress.

Is that a good thing???does it have any affect on value...and is this pickup something that I, as a novice, can learn as I go on. I have always liked these pickups and would like to eventually get it fixed up into something respectable, but I don't wanna screw it up and make people who know more about these things cringe when they see it.

Put some new tires on and replaced the input shaft seal so maybe I can start driving it a little more without adding a quart of tranny fluid every time I want to go joy riding!
