How can you I.D. a true macho wheel from let's say aftermarket wagon type wheels?

Nothing other than pictures on the wheels that I see. After market ones look like them to. That's what I'm curious about.

They will have a tapered edge to them where the center cap goes thru at the center hole. Sometimes there is a part number with a pentastar logo on back side of spoke area. Sometimes there is a metal stamp on inside of RIM area too.

For the '80+ trucks though any factory wagon wheel from '80 to '87 can work. They came on 1/2 ton trucks and vans. On these wheels there are 3 screw holes that hold the center cap on which makes them super easy to spot in a junkyard.
