while im sure there are unknown trucks, most ppl now are pretty proud of them so a majority is prolly posted up online. and right now were still at 12 or 13 idk which i lost count lol still not near 50 tho. whch is still funny cause when you go to other types of sites and such you can go well who has a 64 dart and everyone wil pop up with theirs and before you know it you have 40 of them but weve only manged to muscle up 13 of these? looks like my theory may be true....

We would need to keep track of VINs to really make a count

of the known trucks.

Then the next question is:

How many are still "out in the wild"

For every 2 we've seen, might there be 1 more

or maybe for every 5 could there be one still out there.

For that matter, what the ^&*% does "out there" mean?

There are probably trucks with owners that know what

a MACHO is, but just don't post pics on the internet.

Maybe even lurking right here!!!!

Come on people SHARE. :D

Holy crap I think it's been about 3 years since I posted, but my silver wagon is still sitting in my garage. Engine is still waiting to be dyno'd and then full body off restoration. I got married, have a 9 month old kid and am putting myself through flight school to become a commercial pilot so I can pay for all my toys. I have zero time right now in fact I should be studying as we speak. That on top of running my Jeep website out of Las Vegas www.warmachines702.com. But I promise you one day I will have it back on the road. I love the thread because these are truly rare vehicles, I cant remember the time I have ever seen one aside from on the forum. If mine didn't have so much sentimental value I may have thought about releasing it to someone who could get it on the road faster, but that's about all the memories I have left of my sister and father so she will have to wait till I get to her. Sorry it's been so long, I'll try to be a little more active.

COOL WEBSITE!!!

Like the vid of the burgandy jeep going thru the boulders at Holcumb Creek

Silver Macho 440 conversion indy heads ??

Is the Macho original paint? where did it come from?

Life comes first

but you must have dreams about getting that MACHO out.

Thanks, the site is work in progress, there are way more videos on there under the future runs section that I have to transfer over to the video section. We have a good bunch of guys and still growing. My Jeep is affectionately know as Warwagon and that's where a lot of my Powerwagon money went for a while. You are right it is the 440 with Indy heads. The truck has her original paint and she still has the original roll bar and wagon wheels although the wheel are pretty much toast. She came from Moss brothers Dodge in San Bernardino California brand new when my dad bought her in 1978. She saw lots of hard miles and last time she was registered was 1991. I figure its gonna be about 2 years before I can start on her again, I figure I should be flying for an airline by then and will have some spare cash. Wish it was tomorrow.
