First of all great forum you guys have already answered numerous questions without me even having to post a question. I am the proud new owner of a mostly original White 1979 macho PowerWagon still wearing original graphics and paint. I have only been looking for it for 15 years and finally I found one, now I just need to fix it up. First of all where would be a good source for original wheels or after market wheels that would be a close enough resemblance? Second who has body parts the wheel well on the driver’s side of the bed is rusted out and the floorboard has some bad spots in it. And last but not least how hard would it be to switch from the bench seat to original buckets and could you use the seats from a ramcharger? Thanks Chris |

Seems like I got cab floors from these guys a few years back. Think they required minor mod for 4x4. Original Wagon Wheels are becoming harder to find. FYI they should have a Pentastar stamped on the back of one of the spokes. 5 on 4 and1/2 bolt 15x8wide. Came in white on other trucks just paint Yellow for yours. Lots of aftermkt that were similar. Original 79 buckets on rail set up would be way to go. Repro seat covers for those buckets avail from lots of vendors such as Legendary and others. 80 Machos had optional buckets that are Ramcharger style with seperate console. White was not a common color for Machos. Would look amazing Restored. Here's the link for the sheet metal. http://www.autobodyspecialt.com/ |
