Does your truck have the core support tag?

DT code should be 1592 Light Silver poly

ppg 3016 brochure in 78 called it Light Silver Metallic

Naturally, confirm with your research and your paint store

They can also help you with mixing a black with some flattener

To achieve a Lo Glare.

The last silver truck I did, with out a clear coat to make it look

more correct. Won't last as long if it's outside much. But looked

right.

Not smart enough to paint.

Smart enough to have somebody that know's what their doing do it.

I don't mean flat, rather they mix in flattener to get lo glare or

what some might call semi flat (or semi gloss)

If it's going to be outside then Base / Clear for sure. (on the silver part)

Can't wait to see it!
