Owner scored a super nice grill for it out

in the Swap area.

Great to see. Hopefully he will bring

it back for the Spring Fling 2012.

Maybe we can make it a truck show??

Thanks for coming out to see my Macho. It is nice to be a member of your forum finally.

As for my Macho at the Mopar Fall fling 2011, it is a 1977 early edition (5/77). It was all there when I got it free. It had been moster trucked and all of the fenders were bashed in to make room for the 44's. looked really bad & in rough shape. Has been 3 years or so in the making. The equipment lable was reproduced from the original that was on the truck. It had two lables and duplicated the seat but changed the code #. This is the original color scheme. Has original wheels, roll bar. Good running 360 ci, 727A trans, full time 4x4, 9 1/4 corporate (open) axel in back and std. Dana 44 in front, 3.55's. The tires hum prety loud due to being bias ply, but I wanted the correct tire size (10.00-15 LTB). They are from speacialty tire of America, bought thru a dealer in Texas (Wallace Wade Tires). I changed the mirrors to the newer style because I like the size, and view angle. It also has a 3" body lift which I will remove soon. Other than the dual exaust it is basically stock. Hope you liked it.

Beautiful Macho. I've always loved the yellow ones. Smart move with removing the lift. Got to keep this thing original.

Thanks Again for the help Jeff, The grill made it home unscathed. I just had to set it on that night to see :-) I repainted the black yesterday and it matches perfect. Duplicolor (Trim Paint) is about the closest to the mate black on the Machos. I have a few pics of the truck before. I will have to search a little. Nothing from when it first came in. Originally was going to cut up for a desert truck. This is one of about 14 mopars so there is always something happening.
