Stopped at the Nats on my way to pick up the 81.

(or was it the other way around?)

Anyway, this small block showed up.
Not a bad looking truck, and seemed
fair priced. I was told 2nd day it was sold
but don't know. It was from the Carolinas.

Also saw this 80 Macho. Original Red truck.

Very nice looking truck and new owner said

they got a really good deal. Hopefully they

will join the crew here.

This was really cool too.

The owner had a Walker Evans

Pre Runner stripe kit, (from Mopar)

and wanted to make a tribute truck.

Nicely done and well built.

The bar was salvaged from a Macho

in a bone yard, and had the welds

cleaned up and filled. Looked great.

[nitpicky mode] Very neat trucks, but Walker Evan ran Class 8 TWO wheel drive trucks...Rod Hall ran Class 4 4wd's...

But still, very neat trucks!

Columbus Oh

Aug 13 14 15

This was the 30th

Though it started out elsewhere.

Great show and great swap.

I bagged some cool NOS

and some even Cooler dealer lit.

Including a list of Macho Colors for 78

That includes light tan.

One had popped up but not totally

confirmed.

Light Tan had to be the rarest 78

macho Color. The question remains,

could you special Order a Macho in

a non standard color?

I sold Dodge's through this era, we special order non factory colors etc but Machos were only the few colors specified
