This is my 79 Macho, its been in my family since 1979. Nothing too special about it except that it has the chrome disc wheels. I mostly just wanted to get the word out that theres another one alive, so check it out and tell me what you think...

Or not, i can't attach a picture, says the max file size is 256 KiB..
Anyway its red but i dont know the specific name of the red, its paint code is PY3441 and i tried to find the specific name but i couldn't. does anyone else know? have the original maufacturing equipment sheet and its got the correct paint codes, door tags and the radiator core support tag.

Unfortunately it was neglected for quite awhile and its in rebuild phase right now.

Well tell me what you think

Hi Shogun1332 and welcome to the forum. Send the picture to my email and I'll get it resized for you. Check your PMs for my address. :)

Welcome! If you are using Windows 7 if you right click on the pic, go to edit, it should open up in paint. Go to resize, click on pixels, change them to 640x480 and click OK, hit save. Now the pic is resized and should load on the site. If you want to keep the original just copy it then resize it. I usually rename it with (small) and keep a seperate folder in My Pictures of resized pics. Hope this helps.

looks like it has a hickey bar in it....wonder if it was painted, or out of a top hand at one point...

As far as i know everything is factory stock except the radio which was torn out and replaced with a new cd player radio. I asked about the roll bar a few times cause i thought most machos of this color had black roll bars, maybe it was a factory mess up cause my gramps insists that it came that way and that he never went near the thing with any paint. speaking of which anyone know the paint code translations?

Code is 3441 for the Canyon Red Sunfire Metallic.
79 Dodge/Plymouth Chassis-Body manual,The "Canyon Red Sunfire Poly" is chrysler code AY70RR7...same book next to chry code said Ditzler Paint code is 60854.
The roll bar looks to be an add on piece....or replacement at the dealer...any pictures of the wheel well area, that would tell a lot also...but looks like a top hand hickey bar...IMHO

Okay thanks sounds pretty sweet haha

If the roll bar is a replacement it definintly came from the dealer, i have one picture that shows one mounting point but thats all i got for awhile the other points are covered by various engine compartment parts D:

If i could figure out how to resize my dang pictures right i'll post it and you can see if you can tell
