I don't know if this question has been posted before (I didn't see it anywhere) but I was wondering where someone could purchase a set of body mounts for a 78 dodge power wagon. Thanks.

I believe "Energy Suspension" makes a polyurathane body mount kit for our trucks...
I bought one of their kits about 10 years ago....

Thanks Palomino. I did see those but I was told to get the factory style rubber ones and I haven't been able to find them anywhere. Do you like the polyurethane? I heard it makes the ride more rough compared to the rubber ones, what do you think? Ive also read that the poly lasts longer. Thanks again.

The poly ones would be great for the body mounts, they don't affect anything and last longer. I think what you heard is that if you use poly bushings for your suspension parts such as springs, mopar a-arms, sway bars etc. it's a little stiffer ride and you pickup some more road noise/bumps/vibrations in the cab, plus they are pretty stiff to press in/install etc. And they cost more too.

There is a set of factory originals on e-bay they are pricey like anything else from this vender in SC. But if only original will do they are there. This is a great time to consider a slight body lift, a couple of extra inches always looks good.

Thanks for all the help. I don't need the rubber ones I just heard they make the ride a little softer. I couldn't find a rubber set anywhere, so I went ahead and ordered a polyurethane set, just for the body mounts. Hope they are not too difficult to install, thanks again.

as long as you know how to put a bolt through a bushing you should be set! A piece a cake.
