Lot of really cool vintage mag stuff.
That is my favorite cover.
The staff loved the truck.
Women liked it even more than the dudes.

Interesting that they call it a "Chrysler Macho!" Is that the same shot we use on the Site's main page? Looks like a different driver...

No, that is the same shot. I have that original magazine from 1977 along with other old power wagon cover page mags. Same driver.

I bought my yellow Macho just after that mag came out. I had one someplace with a yellow '77 being tested in it, exactly like mine. I wonder if it was as horribly put together as mine was?

I saw a red one about a week ago in Southern Michigan, near Monroe. The cab was perfect, inside and out, but the bed was a mess. I talked to the owner who said it was his dad's truck originally, and he has a new bed he found in New Mexico that's being fixed (Dings) and painted to match, as it was silver originally. The truck had a 318 in it originally, but it was cracked, so he had a 400 that he stuck in it. It sounded great, and I wish I had the cash to make him an offer on it. No, he wasn't selling it.
