Ok here are some pics as I get it done. My plans are..... new engine with aluminum intake, headers, and a 4 barrel, reseal driveline, freshen up trans, reupholster seats, 4 inch lift with 35's and after I recover from all that, New paint.

I'm up in the air on the wheels. I have a set of 35s left from my jeep days so tires are 'covered I was thinking of making some "factory" 15x10 wheels. I need the tens for the 35s. I was thinking of ordering some stock "looking" black spoke wheels in a 10" wide and have already talked to a pinstriper to put the yellow pin stripes on them. I think that would look good.

Wow, this looks just like my truck. You just purchased it and the motor out already? That is motor-vation. What was the old engine size and what you puttin in it?

Was a 318 the truck has 95k miles and the motor was a little weak. After I got it out turns out the block was cracked. So I'm keeping the internals and I guess scrapping the block. But I slipped the engine guys a little extra to dig through their blocks and find me a correct year block. My truck was produced 10-1977 the new motor 7-10-1977 pretty happy about that.
