Just picked up a 78 Macho today... Long bed with BB400 and auto tranny... Known of this truck for over 15 years and been trying to buy it.... Been sitting in an old barn for several years ....Will post some pics soon... This is my first Macho but definitely not my first Mopar... I have a really nice 79 Power Wagon ( For Sale ) 78 LIL Red Express, 90 Ram Charger, and 70 Duster 340... Will be spending lots of time here now.. Looking forward to some conversing....Cheers.. :D

Wow, Congragulations. It's always nice when someone rescues an old Macho. What a beautiful color with a big block and rare long bed configuration. How's the paint and condition of the truck? Just asking because it's been kept in a barn.

Freakin cool. Missing roll bar? Never actually SEEN a long box 77-78. Me likes. Maybe a 76 power wagon could be cloned.

Okay, you can join our club. :D LAST440 and I also have the same trailer, plus he has the longbed Macho to go with it. Killer score!

Thanks guys for the welcome and compliments... Yeah I love my Big Tex car hauler..It has the built in chain winch binders that sure make it nice. No more stupid straps to jack with... The truck is in pretty good shape with minimal rust some small dents and couple of bullet holes. Maybe that happened during one of the Simon And Simon recordings.. LOL. I know wrong year... Overall not bad for a 33 year old 4x4 ... Pretty pumped about getting it cleaned up and running down the road...

If they are truck specific you may have your work cut out for you. The short bed ones seem rare enough. Nice truck though.
