Someone before me put an Edelbrock on and it runs like crap until it warms up and then it idels to fast....it's been at the shop and it's making my mechanic pull his hair out...I need a stock carb...

The stock carbeurator is a 2bbl for every engine except for the 440. It's a Holley, which is better than Edelbrock from which numerous people tell me, and it has a mechanical choke.

In California you got a TQ (4bbl) on 318s and 360s

Federal could get a 4bbl (TQ) on a 360 - T code

400 2bbl N/A in Cal

440 used a TQ 4bbl shown on the list depending on your

app.

for a 77, it would have been a 2bbl....
for 78 and 79 in ca, you would have gotten a tq on a 318 or 360...
