I couldn't agree more!! This truck is super sweet!! It does not look like it needed much body work so it looks like most of the paint labor is in actual paint prep. Very good price on the paint... Hopefully I can find some of those guys when the time comes for my truck and 68 Coronet. I can't wait to see some pics by the way!

The only rust that was in the whole truck was small circles of surface rust underneath the rear cab trim. All was repaired. I went after the truck with a paint marker and marked all the dings that I wanted taken care of. I got there to take some pics and he had already found and repaired at least 10 other dings that I didn't notice. Note the ugly loaner wheels.....

I have had this guy do paint and body for me before and know she is in good hands...... but I sure am ready to bring her back home.

No new pics yet. He called me Friday and said that they got a little busy but should be ready for pick up this week.

Geeze! They smoked the body work. Now they are crawling on the paint. It's painted now but have a couple spots to touch up and wet sand and buff. She's looking good though. Maybe next week?

Worth the wait

So here's the deal. Apparently the last 4 weeks that we had that it went over 100 degrees everyday plays hell on painters. Long story short, we got a week that didn't go over 100 and they were able to finish. Now gotta let it set for a few weeks before the vinyl guy can put on the decals. Getting excited now.
