Would be cool to have a stamp made and replicate that.

Hmm...good to know. I was hoping it'd have been stamped somewhere on the wheel -- I'll take a look this weekend! Thank you!

I sold my '93 W250 tonight -- to free up some $$ for the Macho...although since I won't be driving it too much...perhaps I'll divert a little into a truck I can take back and forth to the yards...we'll see.

Well no progress on the Macho, however lots of new parts! My new y-pipe, cat, muffler, piping, and tailpipe arrived yesterday. Today I went to the yard and scored some '81 "Power Ram" emblems, headlight buckets (black, not bright), and another set of sport mirrors!

A couple weekends back I also finished insulating my garage so I'll have a nice, comfortable place to work on the Macho this winter!

Aluminum (screw in type) indeed. First '81 Power Ram I've come across with emblems still intact!

Did not realize 81 had aluminum emblems. Last week I had a friend pick up my 81 D150 to turn it into a trailer. I just ran out today and snagged all the emblems off before he scraps the cab.

Quick question for y'all -- I picked up a Chronometer but can't seem to find the plug in the wiring harness -- is there a particular place it hides or do I need an intermediate harness that plugs in elsewhere?

Hmm...I'll have to dig through the wiring some more then as it wasn't tucked away anywhere obvious when I was looking around last night. There are other plugs like it, but they're different in color (Chronometer is a light blue).

Still haven't been able to find the chronometer plug -- I'm wondering if someone hacked it off to wire in the Pioneer radio that was installed (as the original radio plugs were still intact).

I did get a nice AM/FM radio from an '82 installed (almost mint sans a missing balance slider) -- not bad for $5.

Also finally got those ugly, wanna-be Furd mirrors off in favor of some stock 5x7s!
