4 inch lift spring front and 8 inch lift spring rear to eliminate factory blocks. Total 4 inch lift with shocks brackets and lift steering block. I have ordered the last few lifts from the same guys they always do me good. Top gun customz in Texas. Full all spring lift $369 plus $68 shipping.

How do those springs ride? I've ridden in two trucks with leaf spring lift and they knock the heck out of ya! You have to put a 1,000lbs flatbed on it just to make it ride nice!

All lift springs I've found ride like crap. Blocks or shackles are the way to go for comfort but really jack with the steering geometry and/or safety. Even "soft ride springs" are just false advertising. Something about "stacking blocks" and using 12" long u bolts in the instructions just doesn't set right with me. And shackles in the front is a cheap way to lift but really screws with your non adjustable caster up front making it very hard to keep in between the ditches. :) Although the best riding leaf spring I've found is a military spec mono spring. Hard to find and kinda bouncy but won't jar your teeth out.

Sure do like coming home after work and finding presents on my porch. Thats the headers and balancer. The last stuff for the motor. I plan on installing the motor next weekend. I'm using this weekend to clean the engine compartment and put the finishing touches on the new engine. Oh and look, you spend enough money, they'll send you a "free" hat. LOL!

Sorry it was Tennessee not Texas. I stumbled on them about 5 years ago through eBay. I just call directly now. Here is one of their sales. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... K:MEWNX:IT

I talked to a friend of mine that works at a local 4x4 shop about the difference of the lifts and why the split from 77-78. Apparently the only difference we could find is the 77 and older trucks have a 2 3/4 diameter front axle and the 78 to 93 uses 3" front axle. He said according to the breakdown of the lift kits, the only difference is in the size of the front u-bolts. (Cheap enough?) Although since they don't stock those kits he could only go by their catalog.

Engine bay washed. Motor complete. All parts here. Going in Saturday. Look... I also found a pair of NOS "power wagon 150" side decals and a NOS emission sticker for the driver's side valve cover.

Wow! That engine looks great! I had couple of questions for you-

1) I see you went to a 4 barrel carb- where did you get your kick downlinkage or did you just but the stock set up?

2) Where did you get the emissions sticker? I am in the process of doing the same thing to my 360 and want a sticker for it...

Thanks 8-)
