Took my truck jumping today...........Nah, just kidding, I would never. This is a picture from a magazine in 77 testing shocks on the macho. They did this 9 times swapping out shocks and had no failures. In fact, the temperature decreased for the shocks.

That would be Travelin' 4X4s and Off-Road Vehicles. October 1977. Issue is The Great Shock Shootout.

By the way, there's more pics of the macho in the magazine, but that's the only color one.If you want me to scan the others, just ask.

Wow they really pounded that truck.

Looks like it's the same 440 skylight truck that

was tested by FOUR WHEELER for the April 77

issue that proclaimed it "Four Wheeler of the Year"

Same plate and Ramcharger rollbar.
