Like many others on here I have been a fan of the 80's TV show Simon & Simon since I first saw that awesome truck. Well since hen teeth are easier to come by than that particular truck we are forced to clone or make our own. With that said I have a '79 Power wagon that I'm going to start building now that cold weather has begun. I also have a '86 3/4 4x4 that use as my work truck in an excavating business. I began looking for steel that could make a bumper to go on the S&S project, then I began thinking I also needed a heavier bumper for my work truck. So I began working on a bumper for my work truck first. I figured I could use it as kind of a prototype if you will before building one for my S&S project. The steel is 2 pieces of 2-ton truck frame welded together and a push bar welded on. It measures 20" high by 84" long. I also plan on welding on a couple D-rings, add a couple work lights and install a wench. I will post me photo's later when I get it completed and installed on my work truck.
