Post subject:  Got me a Pick M Up
I found this site doing research on the "new" truck. What a great site, thanks to those maintaining it.

The truck was simply advertised as a 1979 Dodge 4X4. It is a basic 318 727 no options truck. What we always called a two option truck; heater and keys. There is no option label under the hood (bummer). There has been some old paint work on it that had me kind of worried but looking closer there is two sets of stripes on the front and back of the box side, so I'm quite sure it is a Pick M Up package truck.

I really didn't need another project truck but it was way too cool to pass up. Plus who doesn't like an 1850 mile road trip on a weekend?

That 1's about 30 min. from me.I called about it over a year ago but never heard back from them.The stepside was that the 1 in TN.?

Check out this one I just found. Wonder if its real? I like the fact that it has the bestop top! Maybe the owner is a member here?

I really need your help, is there any way you can snap some pics of your truck with a measuring tape over parts of your stripe so can get measurements off of it. Just need a few show height and length of parts of it. Any help would be really appreciated. I'm doing up a 2wd pop top black ramcharger and have a guy that can make the stripes for me (challenger Gary) but a few measurements would really help.

Actually only need four different spots with the measuring tape laying across them, this should get me what I need. I highlight the area on this picture with green lines, green lines being the measuring tape. Thanks again.
