On the cover and spelled out inside, even the price for the
package. Chad Hall told me that they thought they had made
about 15 of these. I have truck 008 but it has been painted
over. It is a 79. This may have been the prototype pictured
here in the article. The Background looks like Reno.

It's obvious that they were inspired by the new Macho paint
and stripes.

Any body else found anything on these Rare trucks?

Original paint 78 truck # 6 found in Stockton Calif.

A while back, one of the parts sellers told me about this truck.

I was able to buy it and have already upgraded a few things.
Put original mirrors back on, painted the inside of the bed,
Better set of seats and all new gauges and dash wiring
Factory style AM/FM/CB and a Tuff wheel.

but it will remain as a survivor while I have it. The paint is
about 75% original. I recently replaced the bed wood and
put a cleaned up set of 15/8 ARE Vectors with 33 inch BFG
A/Ts on it. It is a D code 440 truck. The original owner had
used it to haul a 5th wheel camper. But other than that, didn't
drive it that much, racking up less than 100K miles over the years.
Even had the original spare!
