Well I purchased an NOS 77-78 style grill from a military store for $300 which I didn't think was to bad so I can mark that off the list. I'll to strip it with aircraft striper and repaint the black but that shouldn't be to bad. I also picked up a NOS dash bezel, NOS front bumper, NOS tail light assemblies. I'm keeping my eye open for NOS wiring harnesses for every thing as well. I may of also found a truck bed for it local as well, I just want to make sure it's not full of mud as it looks like it's been repainted. He's asking $500 for it which I didn't think was to bad. I'm going to get the seats taken apart for sand blasting then repaint the frames and order new foam and seat covers from legendary right off. Any one have any NOS gaskets for the factory sunroofs? If not I'll come up with something. |

Jeff do you know of any original paint rust free long beds out your way in junk yards? I'll pay to get it shipped back I just want a really nice one. I'm looking at one in mass on ebay but it looks to have work done to it. I want one in original paint and one that is free of rust and major dents. Also prefer one that has no trim from the factory. Thanks |

Clean straight beds, long, short, wide, narrow, are all hard to find even out here. I think you're right to want orig paint if your buying from pics. I think I would figure on getting one with moulding and having to do just a bit of work. I'll keep an eye out. |

Cool thanks so much. I'd rather have one from out your way as there a lot more solid. I know of a 78 short bed local that could be had cheap from down south originally that's really solid, wish it was a long bed. |

I was getting ready to send him the money for it but shipping is outrageous on it. I was figuring I could get it back for around $450 or so but it looks more like 800-1000 to get it back ![]() |
