Hi guys im new to the dodge power wagon world. Im looking at at 78 snow commander with a macho package. The seller is asking $2600. Problem is the 440engine is in a heap of parts. I can get the body work done for free and a engine installed for free. But at that price is it worth it? And did snow commanders even come with a macho package in 78? Your advice is much needed. |

Pictures would be nice. Might be better suited in the macho sections, or tire kickers korner... Welcome to the site ..... |

The Sno Commander was unavailable w/ a 440. Other eaquipp required trans cooler, cab lights, hd bias ply snow tires, hd springs etc, only marking was a 3m reflective decal w/ Sno Commander on it. It used to be Sno Fiter(pro Fighter) starting in the 70's nut lost the name in a trade mark infraction. There were 2 different plows but the bigger Meyer plow was on W200 only & only w/ the bigger front end. The plows were Meyer hydraulic power angle. and more |
