there is this truck i see around town sometimes, and it strikes me as a bit odd. its an 81-85 D250, with a 8' stepside bed. its a V8 4spd truck, i know this as he was revving it up at a stoplight one day and then did a clutch drop. i can only think of one other long bed stepside ive seen on a 81 or newer truck, and it was a tan 4wd on ebay. i think it was an 82. my dad tried to get me to buy it, but naturally i didnt listen.

i know the 8' stepside is probably pretty rare in any case, but you dont see alot of stepside 81 or newer trucks anyway.

I know this is a very old thread but I figured it would be a good way to introduce myself. Here is my 82 long bed Utiline W250.

It has different wheels and tires now along with a few custom additions of my own.

Cool truck! I've seen it here and there on rcc when I poke around over there. I really liked you moving pic, when you had it loaded down and the car behind it.
