Well unfortunately the crew has to go...I bought a car last month and am just out of room (and I won't part with the Macho or the Canyon Sport). If anyone here in interested please contact me! :D

that's a bummer...
well, you should have a receptive audience for selling it...
you should be able to find it a home easily!

Eh, I'd rather put more focus into the Macho...it's been fun to own but with my limited amount of space I prefer driving the Macho and RC.

Surprisingly I haven't had much action (have had it on the local CL and on RCC for a month now)...I think the market must be soft as a buddy on the east coast is having problem selling some of his Dodges which usually get snatched up quick as well.

well, that is true...
I bought mine for 2500 from the original owner, but I think I got an exceptional deal on it...
There was a nice 93 W150 on denver craigs...a SWB LE 5.9 auto in blue and silver...decent money IIRC...

That's a great deal for what you got!

I've been keeping an eye on that shorty...it's been listed for quite a while and I'm honestly surprised it hasn't been snatched up yet!

I would love to have the shorty too...but too far away and no money now...since I spent it on the crew and a couple of other parts trucks...lol.

I've been trying to get my brother to go look at it since he really wants a shorty...and it doesn't get much better than that truck (except maybe if it was a 5-speed)!

If I had the room...and means it'd be sitting here in my driveway.

Well due to lack of action I'm keeping it for now...hope to take it to Moab in September with a group of guys from RCC that are organizing the event.

In the short term/interim I'm going to spray bomb the truck satin black (for one so it's all one color (not half gray on top of original blue) and two so the bare spots don't continue to rust). It won't be pretty, but it will be better looking than it currently is.

If it holds up maybe I'll keep it as-is for an end-of-the-world themed truck! ;)

Well since the market had been so slow, I ended up keeping the crew and giving it a few upgrades...

June brought some Rustoleum Satin Black paint...

And '91-'93 front end swap...

Along with an '85 tailgate...

I finally installed the matching '83 door panels I scored last year (installed new locks in the doors, lubed up the window regulators/lock mechanisms on all 4 doors while I was at it)...
Image

A cheapy roll-in bedliner (since the bed is in such poor shape - lots of dents and some bondo)
Image

July started with replacing the new/OE replacement muffler with a direct fit glasspack to give it some more rumble...
Image

And then some 16x10 Pro Comp wheels and Dick Cepek 305/70 Fun Country tires...

And an in bed OE tire carrier for the spare...
Image

And lastly a '91-'93 LE front step bumper...
Image

So far in August, new Gabriel Max Control shocks as well as a Borgeson steering shaft...
